• Welcome-Message from the Principal:

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year. Entering my sixth year here at Vista Academy, I couldn’t be more proud of Vista Academy and our amazing students. The last several years have shown growth, collaboration and learning for Vista Academy students, staff and our community. As we continue to grow our arts-integrated, International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, we work diligently to create real world learning opportunities for all of our students. Through regular reflection, collaboration, and doing what is best for our students, our staff is committed to our vision of being the “model of educational excellence through innovative arts-integration and intercultural understanding.” So many smiles come across my face when I think about our unique learning community. These moments of pure joy include: students learning to read, taking action to solve real-world problems, performances on stage, students building, designing, singing, dancing, acting and learning through the arts, IB Ambassadors helping their peers, Student Council giving feedback to district administration on what they value, and so many other learning opportunities that abound for students here at Vista Academy. Thank you for choosing Vista Academy and trusting our team to partner with you in providing an international, arts-integrated education for your child. Please get involved in our school community by volunteering at school events, in the classroom and supporting our Vista Academy Foundation. Our goal is to develop the intellectual, artistic and emotional potential in EVERY child! What a special place Vista Academy is because of you!... Principal Mrs. Benjie Walker
