KID'S CORNER

The Kid's Corner offers a friendly atmosphere for reading that is specially designed to appeal to younger crowds. One of San Diego County Library's more prominent features, The Discovery Zone, is found at the Vista Branch. These designated play areas for children under five are part of the library's program promoting early literacy. Young children are encouraged to play in an open space that promotes exploration and reading. Parents can sit comfortably on couches or join in the fun. Bins of board books surround the play space, nurturing an interest in reading.
